The Titans activated Perry (undisclosed) from injured reserve Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ANALYSIS
Perry had resided on IR since he suffered the undisclosed injury in Week 2's game against the Jaguars. Now that Perry is healthy and officially back in the fold, he'll compete for limited touches in a change-of-pace role behind bell cow running back Derrick Henry.

Perry is set to compete for a roster spot as a backup running back behind Derrick Henry and Darrynton Evans. He also has experience as kick returner, which could be his most realistic path to a spot on the Titans' active roster.
Perry will compete for a roster spot as a kick returner, but his chances of making an impact as rusher for the Bills are limited by the backfield presence of LeSean McCoy, Frank Gore, T.J. Yeldon, Marcus Murphy and rookie third-round pick Devin Singletary.
The Dolphins have added veteran Frank Gore and fourth-round pick Kalen Ballage to their running back corps, which is headed by Kenyan Drake. Perry - who logged eight carries for 30 yards in 2017 -- thus figures to fight an uphill battle to earn a spot on the 53-man roster, and it seems likely that he'll be relegated back to a special teams role in 2018.
The Dolphins seem to be of the belief that quantity is better than quality, as Perry is yet another back (also, Storm Johnson) who hasn't played in the NFL since 2014, when he was a member of the Bears. Expect Perry to compete with Johnson for slotting on the RB depth chart during training camp. Very likely, the player who shows more on special teams would have the edge to make the team at the end of the preseason.
After signing with the Bears as an undrafted rookie in 2014, Perry was a full-time special-team player before spending the entire 2015 season on Injured Reserve with a foot injury. He’ll be expected to contribute again on special teams in his third year with the franchise.
Despite going undrafted out of Louisville, Perry earned a spot on the Bears’ 53-man roster last season, almost exclusively based on his ability to play on multiple special teams units. With both Matt Forte and fourth-round rookie Jeremy Langford roster locks heading into 2015, the Bears will once again need their third back to prove his worth on special teams. If it indeed comes down to that phase, Perry would seem have an edge over the likes of Ka’Deem Carey, Daniel Thomas, and Jacquizz Rodgers, though all of those three other backs possess more offensive upside.
An undrafted rookie out of Louisville, Perry will face long odds to beat out Michael Ford, Shaun Draughn and fellow undrafted rookie Jordan Lynch for No. 3 running back duties for the Bears in training camp.
