Undergoing hip surgery
Leno, who was released by the Commanders on Friday, is scheduled to undergo hip surgery this week, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Leno was somewhat inconsistent during his tenure as Chicago's top left tackle, but he at least proved an ability to play at a high level when surrounded by the right talent. If things don't immediately work out with Washington, it seems likely that Leno will draw interest from other teams in need of help at the tackle spot, with the Colts being one such candidate.
