Crawford recorded 14 tackles (seven solo) with two sacks over 16 games in 2020.
ANALYSIS
Both sacks came Week 14 against the Bengals. Crawford has been a versatile piece of the defensive line puzzle for the Cowboys for eight seasons, but the 31-year-old is headed into free agency, and his 2020 performance didn't exactly offer the team a lot of incentive to bring him back. Add in the fact that new defensive coordinator Dan Quinn may want to bring in younger players that better fit his scheme, and Crawford could very well find himself in another uniform next season for the first time in his career.

Crawford played only four games last season before needing surgery on his hip, but he appears to be 100 percent heading into 2020. He's been a useful player for the Cowboys over the years, as his versatility allows him to line up wherever he's needed on the defensive line, but he's never recorded more than 5.5 sacks or 35 tackles in a season.
The 28-year-old has been a steady contributor for the Cowboys, recording 27 to 35 tackles and three to five sacks in each of the last four seasons. Crawford's ability to kick inside or play end should ensure he keeps a prominent spot in the defensive line rotation, but he's unlikely to suddenly emerge as an impact IDP asset.
The fourth-year defensive lineman has bounced inside and outside for the Cowboys since being taken in the third round in 2012, and while Crawford's versatility has been very useful it's also prevented him from settling into a role and making a real impact as a pass rusher. Shoulder surgery ended his 2016 campaign a couple of games early, but if he's healthy he should line up at end once again, at least until the team gets some of its suspended rushmen back in uniform.
Although Crawford set career highs with 35 tackles and five sacks in 2015, his production was disappointing considering the big contract extension he'd signed that offseason. He played most of the season with an injured shoulder that required surgery in January however and the Cowboys are confident that a healthy Crawford will be able to live up to the expectations created by his salary. They have little choice but to pin their hopes on him, though. With Randy Gregory and DeMarcus Lawrence both suspended to begin the season, Dallas needs Crawford to step up and assume a leading role in their pass rush.
Crawford showed flashes of becoming a disruptive force at defensive tackle in 2014, recording 33 tackles and three sacks in 15 games. The Cowboys are very high on him, and playing the three-technique in Rod Marinelli's defense should afford Crawford plenty of opportunities to make an impact, but his value in IDP leagues will probably be restricted to deeper formats.
After missing all of 2013 with a torn Achilles tendon, Crawford rejoins a Cowboys defensive line desperate for playmakers after DeMarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher departed in free agency. The third year player is still looking for his first career sack, but Crawford has the motor to become an asset in Rod Marinelli's system.
2012 third round pick is still developing as a football player, but figured to be one of the Cowboys' top defensive line reserves until an Achilles tear ended his season.
Third round pick is raw but physically gifted, and will need to bulk up a bit to be a serious threat for a starting job at DE in the Cowboys' 3-4 defense. He may not make a big impact until 2013.
