ANALYSIS
Whitworth goes out on top after winning a Super Bowl in his 16th and final season. A two-time All-Pro and a four-time Pro Bowler, Whitworth made 164 starts in 11 seasons for the Bengals and 71 more in five years with the Rams. The 40-year-old seemingly has a good chance to be named to the Hall of Fame later this decade when he's eligible for enshrinement.

The 39-year-old veteran enters his 16th season healthy after spending the offseason rehabbing two torn knee ligaments he sustained in Week 10 last year. Whitworth has 220 starts under his belt and is an irreplaceable part of the Los Angeles offensive line. There's probably even room for him to lose a step or two and remain one of the best left tackles in the league.
As probably the Bengals' best offensive lineman, Whitworth will continue start at left tackle for the team this season and provide protection for quarterback Andy Dalton's blindside.
Projected starting left tackle.
Whitworth will start at left guard for the Bengals.
Forced into action last year because of the Bengals' offensive line injuries, Whitworth held his own as a rookie in 2006. He'll be expected to play a bigger role this year.
