2018 Fantasy Outlook
Keep an eye on Leggett in the Jets' wide open tight end competition. The 2017 fifth-rounder missed his entire rookie season with a knee injury, but he's fully healthy now and as likely as anybody to emerge as New York's starter at the position. Even if Leggett wins the job, owners should keep in mind that the Jets haven't put much emphasis on the tight end position in years past and should be content throwing primarily to a deep wide receiver corps. ANALYSIS
A knee injury kept Leggett from suiting up in his first year after being selected in the fifth round of the 2017 draft, so this season represented his first taste of NFL action. He appears destined to remain behind fellow youngster Chris Herndon on the tight end depth chart for years to come.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
The Jets have gotten the least amount of fantasy production from their tight ends over the past two seasons, which prompted them to pick Leggett in the fifth round of this year's draft. His path to regular playing time shouldn't be too difficult, as he'll compete with Austin Seferian-Jenkins, who is suspended for the first two games of the regular season, and Braeden Bowman, who missed most of last season with a knee injury. Unfortunately, the Jets don't have great options competing for the starting quarterback job, so even if Leggett is able to secure the top spot on the tight end depth chart, there aren't many reasons to think he'll be an impactful fantasy rookie.
