This week, we have three unanimous picks, the Panthers, Jaguars and Cowboys. Last week we went 2-1 on unanimous picks, winning with the Bears and Giants and losing with the Bengals to go 6-7 on the year. We went 5-9 on majority picks (three or more writers) to go 35-41-1 on the year. We were 23-17-1 on unanimous picks and 130-120-6 on majority picks last year.

| Pianowski | I'll be shocked if the Minnesota line doesn't rise. They've circled the wagons after a poor start and easily could have beaten a good Seahawks team in Seattle. Atlanta has little to say for itself, and might be missing its second-most important player. |
| Liss | I like the Vikings laying only 3.5 at home to a bad Falcons team, and while I don't love the Jaguars, the Lions shouldn't parting with 3.5 on the road. Other games that jumped out: I like the Cowboys getting points at home from the Cardinals, the Patriots (if Newton plays) to roll over the Broncos and the Bengals getting eight against the Philip Rivers Colts. |
| Payne | I wonder what the number for home field advantage is this season and have we correctly accounted for that? Tampa opened as three point favorites, and that didn't last very long. Taking them is almost like getting a free teaser if the line were truly them laying the field goal. I'm not sure everyone grasps right now that the 49ers are a pretty bad football team. |
| Del Don | Dallas has its flaws beyond losing Dak Prescott, but it seems the market is over-correcting for his injury with the Cowboys home underdogs against a middling Arizona team... I also like the Colts, Bucs, Rams and Jaguars. |
