N.Y. Giants (+3) at San Francisco, 44.0 o/u – Monday, 8:15 p.m. EST

The Story: Man, when the NFL scheduled this one last offseason, it looked like a prime-time matchup, didn't it? Fast forward a few months, and it's two teams with a combined 3-14 record, and the winner does irreparable harm to their standing in the 2019 draft. The Giants have the longest active losing streak in the NFL right now at five games, so of course Eli Manning will keep the starting QB job coming out of their bye week, because why would you want to hurt your chances of drafting his replacement. He's basically turned into Sam Bradford at this point. His 68.3 percent completion rate is the highest of his career thanks to all the dinking and dunking, and his 7.5 YPA is his highest mark since 2011, but an 8:6 TD:INT through eight games would make even Dak Prescott cringe. They still have Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham – heck, those two guys are mostly responsible for Eli's healthy YPA, given their ability to gain yards after the catch – and, to be fair, none of the five teams they've lost to during their streak have losing records, but the season has still spiralled out of control, much like one of Manning's passes. The Niners at least can blame Jimmy Garoppolo's season-ending injury for some of their difficulties, but they may have found a replacement in Nick Mullens. An undrafted free agent
