GAMES (EDT)

G2 vs. MCH

This is going to be a stomp by G2 after their impressive comeback performance against Suning. Machi did beat Team Liquid, but North America looks horrible in these group stage games. Machi just out-scaled Liquid and they were a little more proactive. The way Machi plays won't work against a team like G2, who were able to have solid engages in the mid-to-late game and their team decisions were on point. Jankos had a poor performance but Perkz really stepped it up and was able to help carry the game. If Perkz can keep playing well, G2 can beat a lot of teams.

Prediction: G2 Win

G2 Players to Target: Everyone

SN vs. TL

This should be a slow-pace game as both teams aren't explosive, though SN has better players at every position. Angel looked good on Syndra and was the one player everyone said wouldn't do well in his group. SN looked real good in the early game, as they were up 3K gold after 15 minutes against G2 and were in prime spot to win with ocean soul until a couple miss fights. Liquid's drafts are very basic, and with the limited champion pool most of them have, SN can counter-pick whatever champion they

Liquid's drafts are very basic, and with the limited champion pool most of them have, SN can counter-pick whatever champion they want into Liquid to beat them. Liquid plays too slow for the LPL and they will get out-macro by them as well. Suning are a solid cash game play for me.

Prediction: SN Win

SN Players to Target: Huanfeng ($7,600), SofM ($7,000), Bin ($6,600)

PSG vs. DWG

Damwon has looked really gooda in this tournament and are definitely a favorite to win it all. PSG with River and Tank don't look good, as they get crushed in the early game. This is straight forward, as Damwon should smash as they are playing at an incredible pace and seem to have picked up this meta. I can see Damwon playing heavy skirmish against a team like PSG and is a solid target in cash games.

Prediction: DWG Win

DWG Players to Target: ShowMaker ($7,600), Canyon ($7,200), Nuguri ($7,200)

RGE vs. JDG

Both of these teams played Damwon, and Rogue looked a little better than JDG, but the problem was is that Rogue was hugging under their turret all game. They lost early game and mid, and even though the kills were close they showed no proactivity around the map. They were constantly down 5K plus gold lead the entire game. Damwon didn't draft for hard engage picks like they did against JDG, and this could indicate them underestimating how bad Rogue are. JDG had a huge bounce-back game against PSG, as they won the early game and snowballed them really hard going into the mid game. The biggest gap in this game is the top and jungle because Finn was getting bullied against Damwon, and inspired pathing was way off. Now that you have a Canyon-like player in Kanavi and a strong weakside player with Zoom, the top side of Rogue won't be able to handle all the pressure, causing them to not funnel resources into Hansama. This is another game I like for cash, as this game can pop off or be a snooze-fest on how marcro-oriented both teams are.

Prediction: JDG Win

JDG Players to Target: Everyone

UoL vs. FLY

Both of these teams showed solid drafts and good composure even though they were getting destroyed all game. The one thing about UoL is that they can fight their way out of certain situations, even with the number of errors they make. This is their downfall because FLY has showed us a side where they will continue to fight and pressure other teams to make mistakes. They were able to capitalize on TES' mistakes on rotations to objectives even though they were 5K gold behind early on. With how UoL macro is, FLY are a solid team to punish their mistakes and even go toe-to-toe with the heavy-skirmish UoL team.

Prediction: FLY

FLY Players to Target: PowerOfEvil ($7,000), Santorin ($6,600)

DRX vs. TES

This is my favorite game on the slate, as both teams looked very explosive in their debut games. This game is about Chovy vs. Knight and the better mid laner would be Knight. Thee teams are similar when it comes to objectives and early leads, but the fact that TES has the best lane kingdom players at Worlds will make it tough for some of the DRX rookies. Pyosik and Karsa is a great matchup because both of these junglers can play carry champions and are good at influencing every lane on the map. Bottom lane is even, but I believe that the top lane is different. 369 all year has played weakside carry top champions and unlike Doran, we have seen 369 carry games through his Camille and Akali. This is going to be a bloody game, and depending on which jungler/mid laner shows up, I can see both teams winning. But since I believe there is a huge top lane gap, then TES are my favorites to win.

Prediction: TES Win

TES Players to Target: Everyone
