DraftKings LoL: Saturday LEC/LCS Cheatsheet

This article is part of our DraftKings League of Legends series.

GAMES (EDT)

  • 11:00 a.m: Fnatic (FNC) vs. MAD Lions (MAD)
  • 4:00 p.m: Cloud9 (C9) vs. Evil Geniuses (EG)

FNC (2 seed) vs. MAD (4 seed)

MAD played great in a shocking upset of G2 in their first playoff matchup, as G2 played poorly by their standards, but MAD played well and deserve credit in beating down the defending European Champions. The issue for MAD is that Fnatic are currently playing insanely well, and it's hard to imagine that lightning will strike twice for MAD this weekend. Fnatic are better across the board in every role and are in great form, and in addition to seeing this as a clean sweep for Fnatic, it's also likely the bloodier of the two series on Saturday's slate. If you want to take a shot on MAD, the bottom lane has looked very good, and while Rekkles will always protect his KDA, Hylissang is prone to errors. Probably MAD's best chance relies on a standout performance from Shadow, as he was dominant in the win over G2.

Prediction: FNC 3-0

FNC Players to Target: Bwipo ($6,600), Nemesis ($7,200), Rekkles ($8,000), Hylissang ($5,400), FNC Team ($5,400)

MAD Players to Target: Shadow ($6,800), Carzzy ($7,000), Kaiser ($5,200), MAD Team ($4,600)

C9 (1 seed) vs. EG (2 seed)

This could be a preview of what the grand final ends up being in North America, as the top two seeds face off on Saturday. Cloud9 have been on another level than all other LCS teams this split, so

C9 (1 seed) vs. EG (2 seed)

This could be a preview of what the grand final ends up being in North America, as the top two seeds face off on Saturday. Cloud9 have been on another level than all other LCS teams this split, so even though EG have been playing well, it's hard to imagine Cloud9 dropping this series. The only question is do they drop a game to EG? I think that's possible, but even that is somewhat challenging to imagine. EG will surely be low owned, so if you want to take a shot, look at Jiizuke and Bang to be the carries, while Zeyzal and Svenskeren have the "revenge game" narrative against their former team. It's a revenge game for Kumo too, but he's the weak link of this team.

Predicition: C9 3-0

C9 Players to Target: Everyone is in play

EG Players to Target: Svenskeren ($6,200), Jiizuke ($6,600), Bang ($6,800)
