ANALYSIS
Al Hasan, who was batting at 50 in the final league match of the tri-series against Ireland at the end of 36th over of Bangladesh's chase, met for several minutes with physio Thihan Chandramohan on the field, but Al Hasan decided to continue batting. Moreover, in the very next over his pain recurred after he pulled a short ball off Joshua Little, and he decided to retire hurt in the next over. Nevertheless, BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin said, "He did not sustain any serious injury as far as we are concerned." Further, he told, "We did not want to take any risk with him so we opted to bring him back but we are confident that he will be fine soon." He is expected to be out for the tri-series final against West Indies on May 17.
