Chittagong Vikings and Khulna Titans are ready to face off in the match 22 of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in Sylhet on Saturday. The game will be an important one for the Titans who just managed to win just one match in six outings. Last of those defeats came against Comilla Victorians on Friday, courtesy brilliant 73 from Tamim Iqbal which helped Imrul Kayes-led unit in registering an impressive three-wicket win. In the previous meeting between both teams earlier in the tournament, it was the Vikings who came out on top in the super over, which shows there is not much to choose between both teams for the match on Saturday.
In the batting department, Titans will be depending on the likes of captain Mahmudullah, Junaid Siddique and Dawid Malan to score bulk of the runs, whereas in the bowling department, the onus will be on the likes of in-form Junaid Khan and Lasith Malinga to provide timely breakthroughs.
On the other hand, Vikings will be coming into this match fresh after having a five-day break. In their previous match, Vikings registered an impressive four-wicket win against Victorians. In the batting department, the home side will be relying on the likes of captain Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Shahzad and Cameron Delport to score bulk of the runs, whereas in the bowling department, the onus will be on the likes of Robbie Frylinck and Abu Jayed to provide timely breakthroughs.
