2022 Fantasy Outlook
Campbell did not have a standout season in 2021 with USC, but he has placed himself in a good position to acquire an immediate role with Houston. In his first season as a Trojan, Campbell had 12 attempts and rushed for 53 yards with no touchdowns. While these are not the most impressive stats, Campbell is joining a Cougars offense that is severely lacking in the running back department. Ta’Zhawn Henry, one of the team's better rushers, is returning, but other than that Houston does not have many other guys to rely on. Their top rusher, Alton McCaskill, is out for the season with a torn ACL he suffered in April, so with such a big loss to the team, Campbell will be able to work to fill in these offensive gaps.
