May 10, 2020
Smith said Saturday that he recently underwent surgery to address a broken wrist, Mike Griffith of reports.
An incoming four-star receiver from Lakeland, Fla., Smith said he suffered the injury during his senior season of high school. He's expected to require 4-to-8 weeks to heal from the injury, which could result in him being limited for the start of camp ahead of the 2020 season. The winner of the "Fastest Man Challenge" in December during Under Armour All-American practices, Smith is expected to contend for a spot in the Bulldogs' receiver rotation as a freshman.
