Leaving school early
January 13, 2022
Neal announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he'll forgo his remaining eligibility at Alabama to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Neal's decision to head to the professional ranks after three seasons with the Crimson Tide comes as little surprise, given that he's viewed as a potential top-10 selection in the draft. The 6-foot-7 350-pound offensive tackle is capable of playing on either the left or right side, and also possesses experience at guard, the position he played as a true freshman in 2019 when Alabama had two future first-round picks (Jedrick Wills and Alex Leatherwood) at the two tackle spots.
