On move again
KNo Current School
December 6, 2021
Sackett entered the transfer portal Nov. 29 and is expected to leave South Florida, Will Turner of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A two-time Lou Groza Award semifinalist, Sackett looked in good position to take over as the Bulls' kicker when he joined the program in 2020, but he was ultimately beaten out for the gig by Spencer Schrader, who emerged as a Lou Groza Award semifinalist himself. Sackett, who has converted 38 of 48 field-goal attempts for his career, will be on the move for the fourth time in his career at stints at UTSA and Arkansas, in addition to South Florida. He should be able to compete right away for his next school in what will be his sixth and final year of eligibility.
