Ja'Marr Chase
Wide ReceiverWR
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Chase came to LSU with high expectations but had only a mediocre freshman campaign overall. He finished 2018 with 23 catches for 313 yards and three touchdowns. Still, he saved his best for last, hauling in six passes for 93 yards and a touchdown in the Fiesta Bowl. That should serve as a springboard for Chase as he enters his sophomore campaign. Other than Justin Jefferson, the Tigers do not have any truly reliable weapons on the outside. With quarterback Joe Burrow back under center, Chase could be a candidate for a breakout season. Goes off on biggest stage
WRLSU
January 14, 2020
Chase caught nine of 15 targets for 221 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's win over Clemson in the National Championship game.
ANALYSIS
The Biletnikoff Trophy winner capped off his remarkable season with one of the best games of his career. Monday marked the third time Chase went over 220 yards in a game this season and it was his sixth multi-touchdown outing as well. Chase finished the year with 84 catches for 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns on 126 targets, which will go down as one of the top receiving seasons in college football history. He'll be back on the Bayou in 2020 as a true junior and with LSU's offense now among the best in the nation, there's a strong argument for Chase as a top-tier receiver in fantasy, too.
