Finds home at South Dakota
QBSouth Dakota
February 13, 2019
Moore announced in December that he would transfer from Iowa State to South Dakota, The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports.
ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Moore spent two seasons in Ames, using a redshirt in 2017 after tearing an ACL. He was back to full strength in 2018 but found himself buried on the depth chart behind Kyle Kempt, Brock Purdy, Zeb Noland and Re-al MItchell. Though only Purdy and Mitchell return to Iowa State in 2019, Moore didn't see much of a future in the program and elected to try his luck at the FCS level. He'll be able to compete immediately at South Dakota while retaining three years of eligibility.
