Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said that Banks (undisclosed) was not available for Saturday's 63-38 loss to South Carolina, Adam Sparks of the Knoxville News Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Banks was sidelined for the first time this season against the Gamecocks. While the reason for his absence is still unknown, Heupel said that he expects the senior linebacker to be available and play in the Volunteers' regular-season finale against Vanderbilt. After logging a career-high 128 tackles, five sacks and four passes defended over 13 contests last yera, Banks has 46 tackles and two passes defended through nine games in 2022.
