Participates in spring workouts
April 1, 2020
Coach Kirby Smart said Tuesday that Cook (rib) took part in a few spring practices before Georgia cancelled the remainder of its workouts due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic, Seth Emerson of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
In particular, Smart praised Cook for his work in one-on-one battles with the team's other running backs, mentioning that the rising junior "had the largest winning percentages." Cook's ability to take part in any drills suggests he's healthy again after he was pulled early in Georgia's Sugar Bowl win over Baylor on Jan. 1 due to a rib injury.
