Gill announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Boston College, joining the program as a transfer from Ohio State.
ANALYSIS
Gill isn't believed to be leaving Columbus with his degree, so unless the NCAA extends him a waiver, he'll likely be forced to sit out the 2020 season before playing out his final two years of eligibility beginning in 2021. The six-foot, 188-pound wideout struggled to find playing time in a deep Buckeyes receiver room the past two seasons, tallying seven catches for 62 yards and a touchdown. Once eligible at Boston College, Gill should have a better chance at earning regular reps at receiver.
