Will not start in Week 8
QBMiami
Shoulder
October 16, 2019
Williams (shoulder) will back up N'Kosi Perry as the sophomore quarterback was named the starter for the second consecutive week Wednesday, Manny Navarro of The Athleticreports.
ANALYSIS
Williams would've been the team's starter this week if he was healthy enough but apparently the freshman quarterback isn't up to good enough health to re-assume his role as a starter just yet. However, Williams has been progressing and is still preparing in practice as if he could have some sort of role in the game. It would come as a shock if Williams still wasn't healthy enough to start in Week 9 against Pitt but all signs are pointing towards him being ready.
