Cureton entered his name into the NCAA's transfer portal on Jan. 30, 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Cureton remains listed on Nevada's 2020 roster, so the rising redshirt junior apparently hasn't ruled out a return to the Wolf Pack for the upcoming campaign. A three-star recruit from the 2017 class, Cureton saw action in three games under center as a true freshman, completing 20 of 38 attempts for 123 three touchdowns and one interception. He then redshirted in 2018 before moving to defensive back in 2019. If he sticks around at Nevada this fall, Cureton would likely return to quarterback after the Wolf Pack lost a good amount of numbers at the position from the past season.
