November 16, 2015
Foster pulled in five catches totaling 62 yards and carried six times for 17 additional yards Saturday as Arizona State defeated Washington 27-17 at home in Tempe.
ANALYSIS
Foster matched his third-best catch total (5) of the season and eclipsed 60 yards receiving for the fifth time in seven appearances on Saturday. The senior also tied his second-highest carry total (6) of 2015 while posting his third consecutive game with positive rushing yardage. The senior exits Week 11 now having recorded a reception in 50 consecutive games (longest active streak in Pac-12 and FBS history), but failed to tally either a rushing or receiving touchdown in each of Arizona State's last four outings. A favorable match up against Arizona's 121st-ranked pass defense could find that scoring drought coming to an end, however, and leave Foster putting up solid fantasy numbers in Week 12.

2015
He doesn't seem to quite be on the level of Grice, but Foster, too should produce like a star this year for Arizona State now that running back Cameron Marshall and receivers Rashad Ross and Jamal Miles are gone. Like Grice, Foster is a running back-receiver hybrid who warrants a rankings boost in PPR formats after catching 38 passes in 2012. Marshall's exit leaves 10.5 carries per game up for grabs, and Ross and Miles combined for 5.9 catches per game last year, so Foster is primed to go off after posting 1,026 yards and six touchdowns from scrimmage a year ago.
Long one of the nation's most talented running backs, the dual-threat playmaker will finally get a chance to serve as Arizona State's top RB with both Cameron Marshall and Marion Grice out of the picture. Foster is probably the nation's best receiving threat at the position, making him a justifiable top pick in PPR formats. In addition to rushing for 994 yards and eight touchdowns the last two years, Foster (5-11, 195) caught 101 passes for 1,186 yards and eight touchdowns. Foster should produce similar numbers as Grice (1,434 yards, 20 TD in 11 games) now that he's in the same role.
A fantasy star at running back a year ago, Foster moved to receiver this offseason, but his fantasy value should remain high despite the position change. He steps in as the No. 1 target in a passing game that should thrive with quarterback Mike Bercovici. Jaelen Strong caught 82 passes for 1,165 yards and 10 touchdowns last season as the No. 1 receiver. A similar outcome should be expected from Foster, who caught 163 passes the last three years as a running back.
