West had 24 points (7-10 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and five rebounds across 29 minutes before fouling out in Wednesday's loss to Iowa State.
West has scored 20 or more points on six separate occasions this season, but he's been frustratingly inconsistent for fantasy owners, as the junior's scoring was kept in single digits over in each of the previous four games. His role has also been a bit of a question mark, as he started four of West Virginia's first five games before coming off the bench in their next 10. West has recently been brought back into the starting five, making four starts in the last six contests. He remains on track for career highs with averages of 10.9 PPG and 4.1 RPG, but the inconsistency makes him tough to rely on from a fantasy perspective.
