Barefield logged 17 points, (4-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four assists and four steals across 30 minutes in Saturday's loss to Arizona State.
While Barefield remains a key cog in the offense, this game was largely a struggle for the senior, who registered five turnovers for the first time since the two teams last met on Jan. 3. He also committed four personal fouls, a rarity for the team's primary ball handler. For the most part, though, Barefield is as consistent as they come, reaching double figures in the last 10 games and averaging 17.0 PPG over that span. Despite going 2-for-12 from beyond the arc in his last two games, Barefield's marks from distance remain right in line with his career averages for the season.
