Dorn recorded 34 points (15-22 FG, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds and two steals across 37 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Lipscomb in the NIT.
While Dorn was exceptional, Lipscomb's Garrison Mathews was better, as he dropped 44 on the other side for the Bisons. That's not to detract from what was an exceptional individual performance for Dorn, who finished his senior year with a career-high scoring total. He did so without recording a three-point basket, but that's not outside the norm for his career, as Dorn has never made more than 27 three-pointers in a single season. That might be an issue for the 6-5 wing as he looks to take his career to the professional level. There's no question Dorn possesses tremendous athleticism, but he lacks the skills of a traditional shooting guard in the NBA.
