Lawson had an excellent game in the win over Oklahoma State on Saturday with 25 points (10-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, and a steal.
Lawson registered at least 25 points for the seventh time this season. It was also the fourth time he had at least five assists. After not being much of a threat from behind the arc for most of the season, Lawson has really cranked it up, averaging 2.0 three-pointers per game over the last six contests. He's also hitting at a 50-percent clip during that stretch. With now no Lagerald Vick for likely much of the remaining part of the season, even more of the offensive load will fall on the 6-9 junior. Lawson will try to lead the Jayhawks to their first road victory since Jan. 12 on Monday when they take on TCU.
