Declares for 2019 draft
FOregon State
April 10, 2019
Tinkle will declare for the 2019 NBA Draft, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Tinkle has been with the Beavers four seasons, but still has a year of eligibility remaining due to a redshirt season in 2016-17. His most recent year was one of his most productive statistically, as he produced averages of 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists. While the numbers are good, it seems likely this is simply a mission for Tinkle to receive valuable draft feedback and return to play his senior year under his head coach and father, Wayne Tinkle. Team success is one thing that's escaped the Tinkles over four years in Corvallis, and the return of Tinkle certainly helps the Beavers chances to make a splash in the Pac-12.
