Thorpe has decided to medically retire from basketball due to an undisclosed injury, Cal Basketball tweeted Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
After missing the entire 2021-22 season due to an undisclosed injury, Thorpe has medically retired from basketball. The 6-foot-9 junior ended his career averaging 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds through 6.6 minutes per game and will now work to finish up his undergraduate degree at California.
