Granted eligibility at Portland State

August 25, 2020
The NCAA approved Hardy's request for a waiver Aug. 18, making him immediately eligible at Portland State, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Hardy won't be forced to take a redshirt after joining Portland State in April following his transfer from Washington. The 6-foot-2 guard was a consistent member of the Huskies rotation as a sophomore in 2019-20, averaging 1.9 points, 1.1 boards and 1.1 assists in 11.0 minutes per game over 29 appearances. Since he'll be taking a drop down in competition from the Pac-12 to the Big Sky, Hardy should have a great chance at emerging as a regular starter for Portland State during his junior season.
