The circumstances surrounding Barnes' departure aren't fully known, but he relayed Friday via his personal Twitter account that the NCAA has already granted him immediate eligibility for the next two years at his next stop. Barnes, who began his career in 2016-17 at UTEP, sat out the following season after transferring over to Tulsa. He'll now be on the move for the third time in his career after averaging 2.1 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per game while appearing in 31 contests (five starts) for the Golden Hurricane in 2018-19.
