Sidibe (knee) had three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and two blocks across 16 minutes in an exhibition against Saint Rose on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Sidibe underwent offseason knee surgery after playing through tendinitis much of last year, but it doesn't appear that will effect him heading into his second year of eligibility. While O'Shae Brissett and Paschal Chukwu will start and hold down the front line for Syracuse, Sidibe is an athletic asset off the bench for coach Jim Boeheim. He can be counted on for modest rebounding and blocks total, and likely a hefty amount of personal fouls as well. Long term, look for the four-star prospect to eventually develop into an elite rim protector that sees his role grow in Boeheim's frontcourt, but he's unlikely to crack the fantasy radar in his sophomore campaign.
