Teague (wrist) announced Monday via his personal Twitter account that he has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
Teague indicating in his announcement that he's "keeping all options open," so the possibility exists for him to return to Baylor for his senior season if he's not satisfied with the feedback he receives from the NBA's advisory committee. After spending the first two seasons of his career at UNC-Asheville before sitting out the 2018-19 season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules, Teague shined during his lone active season at Baylor. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 13.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 three-pointers, 1.9 assists and 1.0 steal in 32.6 minutes per game in 2019-20, serving as a major catalyst in what was arguably Baylor's best season in program history.
