Heads to NAIA Vanguard
Hayward announced on his personal Twitter account that he is transferring to Vanguard University in the NAIA.
ANALYSIS
Vanguard is Hayward's third school in his college career after attending both LSU and Massachusetts. The switch will remove Hayward from fantasy relevance for the time being unless he would transfer back into NCAA Division I, which wouldn't be out of the question given his transfer history. He averaged seven minutes and 2.2 points per game last season with Massachusetts, but he'll look to refine his defensive game at Vanguard. He'll likely have to sit out part of the 2019-20 season as an undergraduate transfer, per NAIA transfer policy.
