Returning for senior season
CVirginia
August 1, 2020
Huff announced Saturday via his personal Instagram account that he will withdraw from the 2020 NBA Draft and return to Virginia for the 2020-21 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Huff's decision to return for his final season provides a major boost to the Cavaliers, who will return five of the seven players who received significant minutes a year ago. Huff averaged 8.5 points and 6.2 rebounds in 24.9 minutes per game as a junior while leading the team in field goal percentage (57.1%) and total blocks (61). The 7-foot-1 center may be asked to take on even more minutes in the frontcourt in 2020-21 following the graduations of big men Braxton Key and Mamadi Diakite.
