Ends collegiate career, goes pro
CMichigan State
April 19, 2019
Ward has declared for the NBA Draft and has signed with an agent, per his Instagram account.
ANALYSIS
The junior has seen his points per game decrease every year he's been at school, although that can be explained away due to a hand injury this past season that bumped him out of the starting lineup. Before that injury he was on pace for a career year, averaging 15.2 points and 6.7 rebounds. Even though he would be allowed back at school if he cut ties with the agent by May 29, an official statement by the school states he "plans to end his Michigan State career," according to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com.
