Jacobson had 16 points (8-10 FG), five rebounds, and an assist in a narrow home loss against TCU on Saturday.
While it was not the result the team wanted, Jacobson had one of his better games in Big 12 play. The Nebraska transfer was tearing in up in non-conference play, averaging 15.4 points and 6.4 rebounds in 27.7 minutes per game, but since conference play started he is down to 9.0 points and 5.8 rebounds in 24.1 minutes per game. Jacobson is still going to get the majority of minutes at center, but the return of Lindell Wigginton has probably taken some of his scoring chances away. Iowa State will try to bounce back on Saturday at Big 12 leading Kansas State.
