Bridges is posting career highs nearly across the board in points (13.7 per game), field-goal percentage (52.4 percent), rebounds (5.1 per game), assists (2.2 per game), three pointers (1.9 per game), three-point percentage (42.0 percent) and blocks (0.9 per game) over the first half of the season. The 24-year-old wing has scored at least 20 points in six games so far. The second-year forward was the only member of the Suns to take the court in all 65 games before the suspension of the regular season on Mar. 11. He matched his career-high with a 20-point outburst on Nov. 19 in a 120-116 loss to the Kings. Bridges scored in double-digits in five consecutive games from Nov. 29 to Dec. 7, averaging 12.6 points on 64.1 percent shooting in that span. The Villanova product reached a new career high on Jan. 18, drilling 10-of-13 shots from the floor, including 6-of-8 attempts from three, on his way to 26 points. Shortly thereafter, Bridges became a regular starter, joining the first unit for the final 19 games of the season. Over that stretch, Bridges averaged 11.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.9 blocks in 34.9 minutes, while shooting 52.6 percent from the field, 40.0 percent from three and 96.8 percent from the line. Bridges scored in double-figures in six straight games from Feb. 26 to Mar. 8, including a 21-point, 10-rebound outburst in a win over Milwaukee on Mar. 8. In his final game of the season, Bridges posted eight points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block against the Trail Blazers. Bridges started all eight games for the Suns after the season restarted in Orlando. In that span, he posted 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.9 minutes per game. After a draft-day trade that landed him in Phoenix, Bridges appeared in all 82 games as a rookie, starting 56 contests. He turned that opportunity into averages of 8.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.6 steals. His season-high in points came versus the Hawks on Feb. 2, when Bridges poured in 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting (5-7 3Pt). As a rookie, the 23-year-old made 105 threes at a success rate of 33.5 percent. He also had a noticeable impact on the defensive side of the ball, finishing with the eighth-most steals in the NBA (129). Bridges scored in double figures 29 times in 2018-19, and did so in four-straight games spanning March 16-23. He was a steady presence in the lineup, leading Phoenix in minutes played with 2,417. While Bridges finished the year among the team's top-5 scorers, he ultimately saved his most productive moments for the end of the year.
