The Suns are the only team in the West that has fallen out of the mix, as they are 8.5 games behind the 14th place Timberwolves, while the Timberwolves are just 5.5 games out of first place.

This marks the fourth and final game of a road trip for the T-Wolves, where they have gone 0-3 so far. They are just 2-11 on the road so far this season, which is among the worst road records in the league. Robert Covington has been a fantastic addition to the team, averaging 12.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 steals, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 assists per game. Andrew Wiggins has topped 20 points in his last four game, and has picked up his play recently, while he averages 16.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Karl-Anthony Towns leads the Timberwolves, averaging 21.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.7 blocks per game.
