Weekly Hitter Rankings: Mets and Tigers and Cubs, Oh My

This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.

A Monday doubleheader in Queens gives the Mets and Braves eight games this week. Apologies to those who now have a Beatles earworm for the next few hours.

Even with the extra game, neither offense is projected to score as many runs as the Tigers and Cubs, though the Cubs lineup could lose a top bat this week with the trade deadline approaching and Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez all the subject of trade rumors.

Eleven teams are slated for seven games with the Angels (along with the Mets) home all week. The Reds and Rockies are on the road for the full seven contests.

The Diamondbacks, IndGuardians, Marlins, Cardinals and Rangers only play five games. Yes, I know Cleveland is still the Indians, but they built this with a strikethrough feature so I figured I'd put it to use.
