Weekly Hitter Rankings: New York, New York

This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.

The city that never sleeps can lie awake counting runs as both boroughs are in great shape this week, especially the Bronx with eight games. The Nationals and Blue Jays also line up for a very productive week as they also are scheduled for an octet.

Joining the Yanks, Nats and Jays with a full week plus one are the Pirates and Red Sox.

Despite the bevy of doubleheaders throughout the league, the Giants will only take the field five times.

Platoon aficionados should note the Twins are lined up to face four southpaws while the Orioles and Nationals check in with seven contests started by a righty. Please be sure to take advantage of the sorting mechanism as hitting table can be ordered by column by clicking on the appropriate heading.

Beware, not only will there be the usual changes over the weekend, but with the impending trade deadline, rotations likely will shuffle into the week.

For the week of Aug. 31 - Sept. 6
