This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.
For the second consecutive week, a dozen teams play the full seven games with the rest scheduled for six. Leading the way are the Padres and Yankees, projected to lead the pack in scoring. San Diego makes its last trip to Coors Field to end the week while the Yankees are on the road all week, albeit against the weak Detroit and Toronto staffs and bullpen.
Only the Mets and Giants play seven games at home. The Braves, Brewers, Athletics, Pirates join the Bronx Bombers with seven road tilts.
As always, these are the initial rankings. The final version will be available Sunday night after teams announce their official plans.
For the week Sep. 9-15.
