Weekly Hitter Rankings: City of Brotherly Runs

This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.

The Phillies average the third-most runs per game in the National League. They're in great shape to keep the early scoring going with seven games in Citizens Bank Park. Only the Orioles, Tigers, Twins, Brewers and Pirates join the Phillies with a full seven-game slate.

Eighteen clubs play six games, led by the Indians with a chance to show some power that's been absent from the first six weeks of action. The Tribe welcomes the Orioles into Progressive Field for a four-game set. The visitors staff has surrendered a whopping 2.1 homers per game, a full half home run more than the Cardinals, the second poorest staff in this regard.

Six squads will take the field just five times, including the Red Sox, Rockies, Dodgers, Marlins, Giants and Rays.

Please note, the columns are now sortable.

The pitching schedule will no doubt be fine tuned over the weekend so please stop by Sunday night for the final rankings.

For the week May 13-19.
