PropSwap Picks of the Week: Super Bowl Edition

PropSwap Picks of the Week: Super Bowl Edition

This article is part of our Betting Promotions series.

Have you ever made a bet at a sportsbook that you later regretted? Did the money line change on you?  Or, conversely, did you bet on a future that suddenly had a great chance at hitting? If so, a secondary marketplace to sell your ticket is available to you!  PropSwap posts your tickets and makes them available via a straight sale or a bidding process. Think of PropSwap as an eBay for sports tickets. Like an item on eBay, you place the ticket on PropSwap, and then people can buy and/or bid on your action.  And, yes, that's right - you can also purchase action on the site as well!

The purpose of our weekly article is to take a look at what's available on PropSwap this week and give advice on our best buys. Before you buy anything on PropSwap, be sure to read the fine print. The betting slip will be sent to you via certified mail, so if your ticket wins, you need to be near a licensed sportsbook to cash it in. Although deadlines to cash vary, most sportsbooks' typical expiration date is six months or 180 days.

With Super Bowl Sunday on the horizon, the NFL section is chock-full of fun propr bets that can spice up your game day viewing if you're nowhere near a sportsbook. We'll highlight some of our favorites below.

NFL

Will a Penalty Create a Touchdown? YES - $5.00

Odds: 1.16:1 TO WIN $10.80

I like the odds, and it's an excellent, low-risk option to add to your list of game props. Playoff games are usually spots for this kind of occurrence, especially as defenders will take the rock to the house on even the flimsiest of premises.

Chiefs TO WIN 2021 Super Bowl - $31.00

-172.22 TO WIN $49.00

The odds aren't great, but this is how I think the game will go. It's a straight ML bet, which I far prefer to giving the Bucs three points.

Patrick Mahomes TO WIN 2021 Super Bowl MVP - $55.00

-106.73 TO WIN $107.50

I'm telegraphing my preferred outcome, and I'll take yet another opportunity to double-up my money here.

CHIEFS -3,  UNDER 56.5 PTS (2 Leg Parlay):  $66.67

Odds: 1.62:1 TO WIN: $175.00

I have to endorse this because I punched the exact same ticket yesterday. A closer look at the game flow for these two teams gives me more confidence in the Under than I did earlier in the week. It will likely hinge on how effective the Bucs defense will be on Sunday.

CFB

JT Daniels TO WIN 2021 Heisman Trophy - $25.00

Odds: 10:1 TO WIN $285.00

I love this ticket! Picture this, if you will. Daniels makes a heroic final charge to upend Clemson in the first week of the season, and just like that, the Georgia QB is at the top of the list. It would be sweet irony if Kedon Slovis were also in the running.

NBA

Lakers, Dodgers TO WIN NBA Championship/World Series - $550.00

Odds 1.11:1 TO WIN $1158.08

Ok, the odds are terrible, but I'm a sucker for long-term futures, especially unique ones like this. The Dodgers have some positional questions to answer, and the Lakers need to keep their intensity up, but this future could hit.

Anthony Edwards TO WIN 2021 Rookie of the Year - $100.00

Odds 3:1 TO WIN $399.94

I punched a ticket for Wiseman already, but it looks like he could be out for a while. His injury opens up the door for a host of others, including Cole Anthony, Jae'Sean Tate and Edwards, who is one injury away from directing the T-Wolves offense.

CBB

Ohio State TO WIN 2021 NCAAB Championship - $400.00

Odds 24:1 TO WIN $10,000.25

First, they need to get into the tournament.  I don't think that will pose a problem for the Buckeyes. Since their shocking loss to Purdue, they've racked up four straight wins, with signature victories against #8 Iowa and #19 Wisconsin. They're deep at every position and surging at the right time.
