PropSwap Picks of the Week

PropSwap Picks of the Week

This article is part of our Betting Promotions series.

Have you ever made a bet at a sportsbook that you later regretted? Did the money line change on you?  Or conversely, did you bet on a future that suddenly had a great chance at hitting? If so, a secondary marketplace to sell your ticket is available to you!  PropSwap posts your tickets and makes them available via a straight sale or a bidding process. Think of PropSwap as an eBay for sports tickets. Like an item on eBay, you place the ticket on PropSwap and then people can buy and/or bid on your action.  And, yes, that's right - you can also buy action on the site as well!

The purpose of our weekly article is to take a look at what's available on PropSwap this week and give advice on our best buys. Before you buy anything on PropSwap, be sure to read the fine print. The betting slip will be sent you via certified mail, so if your ticket wins, you need to be near a licensed sportsbook to cash it in. Although deadlines to cash vary, the typical expiration date for most sportsbooks is six months or 180 days from the date of the initial purchase.

As expected, our offerings across all major sports are ramping up, and we're starting to see some interesting futures available, especially for positional milestones in the NFL.

NFL

Green Bay Packers TO WIN 2021 NFL Championship  $65.00

ODDS 21.15:1 TO WIN: $1,440

The one-two punch of Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams was on full display in Week 1.  Rodgers has officially put the NFL on notice, and with signs of development from Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling coupled with star rusher Aaron Jones, it isn't a stretch to see the Pack emerge from the NFC.  After a lukewarm showing from the 49ers in Week 1, the door's open for someone to become the favorite, and right now this number is about as favorable as it's going to get.

TITANS, COWBOYS Two-Leg Parlay TO WIN AFC and NFC Championship $65.00

ODDS: 54.58:1 TO WIN: $3,612.00

Many sportsbooks have funky rules regarding parlays with future bets, so this is a neat grab to get at the current odds.  While neither team looked up to snuff in Week 1, let's remember that they've only seen one game at full speed. Dallas has one of the best backs in the game and an exciting new target in CeeDee Lamb, while the Titans have Derrick Henry and an impressive defense. The Titans are certainly the long shot in this parlay, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them both in the playoffs.  The key for the Titans will be navigating around the Texans and Colts in the AFC South.

NBA

Miami Heat TO WIN 2021 Championship $500.00

ODDS: 3:1 TO WIN $2,000.47

Action for this bet is hard to come by, but these were the best odds I could find on the site.  Who emerges from the West is a huge variable in this scenario, and if the Heat continue to win, these odds will get even lower.  I only wish I had gotten on the bandwagon earlier.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Penn State TO WIN Big Ten Conference $130.00

ODDS: 6.69:1 TO WIN: $1,000

The Big Ten futures will continue to trickle in as they begin to settle matters.  Who knows what the adjusted schedule will bring, but I like this bet because the presumptive favorite will have to play in Happy Valley if the schedule holds.  That's a tough place to play and the Nittany Lions will have Journey Brown and a tough offensive line to contend with. It's hard to bet against the Buckeyes but this is a nice value for all you PA gamblers out there.

MLB

NY Yankees TO WIN 2020 World Series $750.00

ODDS: 5.69:1 TO WIN $5,000

While not the odds-on favorite, it's impossible to rule the Yankees out,  They're currently only half a game out of a wildcard berth, and I expect them to reach the wild card game.  From there, it's anyone's guess. Either way, you have to expect that the NL will once again find a way to blow it, and with the Yankees on a seven-game heater, they can beat anyone on any given night.

GOLF

Harris English TO WIN 2020 US Open $80.00

Odds 20:1 TO WIN $1,680

Right now, English is climbing up the leaderboard at 3-under in the second round. This pick is certainly time-sensitive, but he's probably the best prop bet you can make currently.

MY SELL PICK OF THE WEEK

Calvin Ridley Futures

His chances of winning the 2020 Receiving Crown are probably slim, but I bought it at 90-1 at the beginning of the season.  Currently his Over/Under numbers for receiving yards are absurdly small, but this bet is a little difficult to find, and the line movement for this kind of future bet is volatile across the sportsbooks. If you can find a reasonable Over bet, lock it in and post it
