Powell scored a six-yard touchdown on his sole rush, netted zero yards on his one reception and returned seven kickoffs for 119 yards in the Brigade's 62-21 playoff loss to the Empire on Saturday.

ANALYSIS
Powell was also credited with four tackles (three solo) on defense for quite a full night of action. The two-way player was an effective returner this season when given the opportunity, but he enjoyed more snaps on offense than usual Saturday. Whether that's a harbinger of what's to come for the Globe Tech product in 2020 remains to be seen, but with a 25.1-yard average and four touchdowns on kickoff returns this season -- as well as four pick-sixes during his three-year AFL career -- Powell undeniably has the ability to make plays with the ball in his hands.
