Rowan Marshall
Confirmed starter Saturday
RSt Kilda Saints
April 8, 2021
Marshall has been confirmed as a starter by senior coach Brett Ratten for Saturday's match against West Coast.
Marshall has yet to play this season and will make his debut against the Eagles. His ruck partner, Paddy Ryder (personal), isn't expected to return for another month, so Marshall could see extra touches go his way.

Plays in reserve match
RSt Kilda Saints
April 6, 2021
Marshall (foot) played in a reserve match for Sandringham over the weekend.
Marshall has yet to play this season but could be a reliable option at ruck after recording 14 disposals and 14.6 hitouts per match in 2020.
Sidelined through Round 2

March 3, 2021
Marshall will miss through at least Round 2 as he works his way back from a foot injury, the AFL's official site reports.
Coach Brett Ratten believes Marshall will be back in the mix soon after Round 2, so it sounds as though the team's No. 1 ruckman may not be sidelined too long by the issue. Even so, the team is losing out on his 14.0 disposals, 4.4 marks, 2.2 tackles and 14.6 hitouts per contest from the 2020 season in the meantime.
Finishes season well

September 18, 2020
Marshall kicked one goal and one behind to go with 16 disposals (13 kicks, three handballs), six marks and seven hitouts from Friday's 82-30 win over Greater Western Sydney Giants.
Marshall ceded most of the hitouts to Paddy Ryder, but he didn't really need them to produce a good stat line after racking up four goals and six behinds over the last four Rounds. Production value tends to be spread around in this Saints team, which isn't always the best for fantasy but has helped to keep their season alive with a place in the finals.
Scores in loss

August 23, 2020
Marshall scored one goal and one behind to go with 14 disposals (11 kicks, three handballs) and 10 hitouts in Sunday's 50-48 loss to Brisbane.
Marshall doesn't dominate in hitouts, but he's still one of the more productive rucks in the league thanks to everything else he does each match. Even with the recent struggles of the Saints, Marshall doesn't seem to be very affected and seems to be a useful selection over the rest of the season.
Scores twice in win
RSt Kilda Saints
July 25, 2020
Marshall scored two goals and collected 11 hitouts to go with seven clearances and 15 disposals (14 kicks, one handball) in Saturday's 73-44 win over Port Adelaide.
Marshall doesn't always make the kind of impact expected from a top ruck, but he scored two for the second time this season in a strong all-around performance. With how dominant Marshall and his teammates were against the top team in the Premiership, Marshall could have some solid confidence going into the next few Rounds.
