Adams (ankle) is expected to return for Round 23 versus West Coast, per AFL Ratings.
ANALYSIS
Adams was given a four-to-six week return timeline in mid-July, and it appears he'll land within that range. He's only reached the 80-point threshold in three of his 14 matches this season, so the defender is likely just a mid-range fantasy option at best.

Adams suffered a stress reaction in his right foot and will miss four-to-six weeks, his club announced Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Adams has had similar injuries on the same foot in the past, so this issue is a little troubling. It's not expected to keep him out for the season, though Adams adds to a growing list of injuries for the Lions at the moment.

Adams suffered a stress reaction in the same foot that underwent surgery in May and could miss six-to-eight weeks, according to High-Performance Manager Damien Austin. "We did a bit of investigation and that's going to take a little bit longer than we thought, so he (Adams) might be another six to eight weeks just to let that settle.''
ANALYSIS
Adams will hope that this is the end of his woes so that he can return to the capable player he became last season. He'll need to be extra careful with his rest so as not to extend his problems any further than they've already longer in a shortened season.
Slated for multi-game absence

Adams is expected to miss multiple games when the AFL resumes play in June after undergoing foot surgery earlier this month, Ronny Lerner of The Age reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams climbed his way to the top of the list as the key backman at the end of the 2019 season but faces yet another setback in his health after missing the first 15 weeks of 2019 due to a knee injury. Fortunately, it's a different part of the body this time and won't require as long of a recovery, but his constant issues aren't particularly encouraging.
