Wingard secured 30 disposals, six clearances, five tackles, three marks, two goals and a single behind Saturday as Hawthorn drew Richmond 83-83 at MCG.
ANALYSIS
A season-high 15 handballs helped Wingard finish with 30 touches for the third time in four appearances on Saturday while his two majors tied a season-best mark for the third time this year. The 28 year-old closes out Hawthorn's 2021campaign averaging 22.3 disposals, 3.5 marks, 3.9 tackles, 3.2 clearances and 88.3 fantasy points a showing and ranked second in the AFL for goal assists per game (1.2).

August 1, 2021
Wingard scored two goals and two behinds to go with 32 disposals (20 kicks, 12 handballs) in addition to making seven marks and seven tackles during Sunday's 92-80 win over Brisbane in Round 20.
ANALYSIS
Wingard returned from a hamstring injury in Round 19 and looks refreshed with two strong efforts in his last two games. If he's able to keep up his marking and tackling totals, Wingard tends to hover in the 20-disposal area and could easily be a valuable asset over the rest of the season.
On track to play

July 20, 2021
Wingard (hamstring) is expected to be available in Round 19 against Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Wingard has yet to play in July but should be back against the Crows. Though he's seldom played at his best this season, Wingard did score over 100 fantasy points in each of the first two games of 2021.

Hamstring
June 27, 2021
Wingard suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's 90-72 win over GWS in Round 15.
ANALYSIS
Wingard was able to score for the third straight game but an early exit limited his ability to get enough touches for a solid fantasy score. A minor injury would likely see him out for two weeks at most, and much longer if the strain is graded higher.
Good to go

Wingard (general soreness) will play in Saturday's matchup with the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Wingard will return from a one-game absence due to soreness. Barring any setbacks, look for him to take on his usual role.

General Soreness
April 30, 2021
Wingard will sit out the Round 7 clash with St. Kilda due to some general soreness.
ANALYSIS
Wingard's absence in the midfield will certainly be noticed given his pair of 100-point efforts earlier in the season. He hasn't been able to match those totals over the last two rounds and it's possible some of the bumps and bruises that have led to his absence this week have played a role in his decreased production. Barring a setback of some kind, Wingard doesn't seem headed for a long stay on the sidelines.
