Second 100-point showing of July
MSydney Swans
July 18, 2021
Parker netted 31 disposals, nine clearances, six tackles, four marks and a single goal and goal assist each Sunday as Sydney knocked off GWS 98-72 at Metricon Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Parker shone as the lone member of Sydney's roster to top 100 fantasy points in Sunday's contest, pacing all players in touches with 31 (14 kicks, 17 handballs), matching a season-high for clearances and falling one tackle short of his best aggregate in that category for the year. The midfielder too recorded his second major for the month of July and fifth in seven appearances in the victory. Parker has continued to put up excellent fantasy numbers in contests played since May 22, averaging 102.8 points a showing along the way. Little surprise then that 28 year old heads into Round 19 the Swans No. 2 for fantasy scoring in 2021.
Balanced contributions in loss
MSydney Swans
May 9, 2021
Parker supplied 32 disposals (16 kicks, 16 handballs), five tackles, four marks and seven total clearances in Sydney's loss to Melbourne on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
After recording at least one goal each over the first four matches of the season, Parker has failed to score in that capacity in each of his last four outings. However, he's continued offering strong production across the rest of the sheet, with Saturday's disposals and clearances figures both ranking as his second highest of 2021.
Career-best tying 21 kicks in win
MSydney Swans
April 9, 2021
Parker collected 32 disposals, seven marks, six clearances, three tackles and a goal and behind each Thursday as Sydney edged out Essendon 83-80 at MCG.
ANALYSIS
Parker's career-best tying 21 kicks and 11 handballs combined for a game-high 32 disposals and the midfielder recorded a goal and behind each in his third-consecutive outing as Sydney moved to 4-0 on the year on Thursday. The 28 year-old has quickly established himself as a top-tier fantasy commodity this season, touting as he currently is a median stat line that includes 26.8 disposals, 5.2 marks, 4.5 clearances, four tackles and 1.2 goals a game. Parker exits Round Four also one of only four players in the entire AFL having already eclipsed 400-points in 2021 and currently ranked 17th in the league for average fantasy points an appearance (106.0).
Scores two goals in win
MSydney Swans
March 20, 2021
Parker scored two goals and collected 23 disposals (11 kicks, 12 handballs) and made five marks during Saturday's 125-94 win over Brisbane.
ANALYSIS
Parker is usually one of the better players for the Swans and the beginning to 2021 was no exception. A few more marks would put him into even loftier territory, but take nothing away from Parker and his ability to put up solid numbers in a season with full 20-minute quarters.
Kicks two majors in loss
MSydney Swans
September 13, 2020
Parker scored two majors and logged 33 disposals (13 kicks, 20 handballs) to go with five clearances in Sunday's 73-41 loss to Brisbane.
ANALYSIS
Parker has alternated between stunning and stunned each week as some inconsistencies have come out towards the later stages of the season. While the final Round of the season falls on the wrong side of Parker's form, he still was a huge presence against a top-two Brisbane club and is capable of making a similar impact against Geelong.
